Teaching Assistant in Harrogate - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited

Hays Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Harrogate to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a long-term supply role starting in September.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistant who enjoys supporting pupils across the primary age range and wants to make a real difference in the classroom.

The Role

• Long-term supply position starting in September
• Expected to continue until Christmas
• Supporting classes across the school from Early Years through to Year 6
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and pupil engagement
• Providing small group and one-to-one support where required
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

What We're Looking For

• Experience working with children in a primary school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A flexible and proactive approach to supporting learning
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential
• A genuine passion for education and helping children achieve their potential
