Position: Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Ripon, North Yorkshire

Salary: £30,000 - £34,000

Mechanical Design Engineer required for a well-established and growingmanufacturer based in Ripon, North Yorkshire. Due to ongoing success they are seeking an enthusiastic Design Engineer to join their technical team.

Mechanical Design Engineer Position Overview

• Producing 3D modelling drawings for projects with the use of Autodesk Inventor
• Ensuring design of production parts are in accordance with specifications
• Liaising with the manufacturing department and suppliers to ensure design are understood and interpreted correctly

Mechanical Design Engineer Position Requirements

• Proficient with 3D modelling software such as Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks
• Based in a commutable distance of Ripon, North Yorkshire
• A knowledge of manufacturing processes, ideally sheet metal fabrication
• Good communication skills

Mechanical Design Engineer Position Remuneration

• Salary: £30,000 - £34,000
• Permanent position. Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00. Friday 08:00 - 16:00.
• Holiday allowance & pension
