Job title: Commercial Gas Engineer

Salary: Up to 55k

Location: West London

My client is looking for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team. You will be covering West London; this is field based role.

Key Responsibilities

• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Service and inspect boilers, heating systems, and plant room equipment to ensure statutory compliance.
• Reactive Repairs & Fault Finding: Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on commercial gas systems, completing repairs efficiently.
• Testing and Purging: Safely test and purge commercial pipework.
• Documentation: Complete Gas Safe records, service sheets, and compliance documents, often using PDAs or mobile CAFM systems.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Core Commercial ACS: COCN1 (Core Commercial Gas Safety) or CODNCO1 (Changeover).
• Appliance Specifics: CIGA1 (Indirect Fired Appliances), CORT1 (Overhead Radiant Heaters), CDGA1 (Direct Fired Appliances).
• Pipework & Testing: ICPN1 (Installation First Fix) and TPCP1A or TPCP1 (Testing & Purging).
• Licence: Full UK Driving Licence.
• Proven experience in commercial plant rooms and mechanical maintenance.
