Salary : £61,000

Hybrid option available

12 month fixed term contract and 4 days a week options are available

My client who are looking for a Sales Manager to join their team. We are looking for candidates who has experience of managing a team and providing daily support and guidance to Team Leaders.

This is a fixed-term contract position to cover maternity leave, therefore the successful candidate will be required for a minimum of 12 months cover, ideally from September onwards, to ensure a sufficient hand over period.

Job responsibilities

Provide leadership and line management for Internal Sales Team with varying levels of experience, including coaching and development.

Oversee workflow management, staff competency, and training requirements.

Ensure telephone teams maximise business opportunities across regions.

Assist field and internal sales teams with complex broker queries and escalations.

Plan and deliver onboarding training for new team members, including Field Sales.

Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policy.

Collaborate with Operations to identify and deliver improved efficiency and customer outcomes.

Key Skills & Experience

Proven leadership experience within sales or financial services.

Demonstratable experience in people management including coaching and mentoring skills. .

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Flexible, proactive, and committed to high performance

Solution focused mindset and highly organised.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
