The school supports children and young people with a wide range of Special Educational Needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils both in and out of the classroom
• Help deliver engaging and personalised learning activities
• Promote independence, confidence, and social development
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including communication, sensory, and physical needs

• Compassionate, patient, and resilient individuals
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with SEND
• Previous experience in education, care, support work, or youth work is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
