Architectural TechnologistLocation: NorthamptonSalary: £35-40,000 An established architectural practice in the Northampton is seeking a talented Architectural Technologist to join its expanding team. With more than 50 years of experience delivering projects across both the public and private sectors, the practice has built a strong reputation for its work within logistics, education, hospitality, civic, leisure, industrial, and residential developments. Working on projects ranging from small-scale schemes through to major multi-million-pound developments, the team offers a collaborative environment with a strong focus on technical excellence and BIM-led delivery.

The Role:
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction information using Revit
- Lead the technical design and coordination of projects across a variety of sectors
- Liaise with architects, consultants, contractors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure projects meet building regulations, planning requirements, and industry standards
- Support project delivery through all RIBA work stages, from early design through to completion
- Provide technical guidance and resolve design and construction challenges as projects progress
Requirements:
- Degree in Architectural Technology or a related subject
- Proven experience working within a UK architectural practice
- Strong understanding of UK building regulations, construction techniques, and technical detailing
- Proficient in Revit
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and contribute effectively within a collaborative team
- CIAT accreditation, or an interest in working towards chartered status, would be beneficial
