Ops Resilience and Continuity Lead — 3-Month FTC Remote with UK Travel £-£ pd Inside/outside IR in London - eFinancialCareers

Leading household insurer is looking for an experienced Operational Resilience specialist for an initial 3-month FTC, covering a period of significant change and integration. You'll need to hit the ground running — engaging with Exec stakeholders from day one and bringing immediate credibility across resilience, business continuity and crisis management.

Daily requirements

1. Lead ongoing development of the operational resilience framework, ensuring important business services and impact tolerances stay current and effective
2. Monitor and report on resilience risks and remediation progress
3. Design and run scenario testing to pressure-test resilience
4. Chair resilience forums, delivering clear updates to senior stakeholders
5. Own business continuity and crisis management frameworks, including planning and incident preparedness
6. Act as SME on resilience for change initiatives and regulatory requirements

Required Experience

1. Strong track record in operational resilience, business continuity and crisis management, ideally within insurance
2. Confidence operating and influencing at Exec level
3. Hands-on experience building resilience frameworks, policies and governance
4. Solid grasp of current operational resilience regulation and best practice
5. Available to start quickly and deliver at pace
