Area Sales Manager - North in Manchester - Get Staffed Online Recruitment Limited

Our client is looking for an experienced and driven Area Sales Manager covering the North to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-oriented sales professional with proven experience in the automatic door industry who is passionate about winning new business and building lasting customer relationships.

This is a field-based role where your work is predominantly out meeting customers for meetings and site visits.

Starting from £40,000 per annum, with the potential to increase based on experience, industry knowledge, and proven sales performance. This role also offers uncapped commission and a company car and the opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth of their business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new business opportunities across the Northern region.
• Increase sales revenue by identifying and securing new customers.
• Promote their products and services to prospective clients.
• Identify target areas, projects, and market opportunities to expand the business.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
• Prepare quotations and proposals.
• Prospect for new business through networking and lead generation.
• Attend customer meetings and site visits.
• Produce regular sales reports and forecasts.
• Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Direct sales experience within the automatic door industry.
• A proven track record in sales and new business development.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• The ability to read technical drawings and architectural specifications.
• Strong technical knowledge, including BS EN 16005.
• A full UK driving licence.
