  • Drive business development activity, identifying and securing new client opportunities.
  • Develop strong relationships with intermediaries, professional contacts and the wider local business community.
  • Ensure work is delivered to a high technical standard, on time and within budget.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to develop a successful and engaged team.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant accounting, audit, tax and regulatory standards.
  • Work collaboratively with Partners and the wider leadership team to support strategic growth initiatives.
  • Contribute to operational improvements and service excellence across the business.

About You

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience).
  • Strong background within UK accountancy practice.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of accounting and audit standards.
  • Commercially focused with a proven ability to win work and develop client relationships.
  • Confident networking within the Manchester business community.
  • A natural leader with experience developing and mentoring teams.
  • Ambitious, proactive and motivated by the opportunity to build something new.

What's on Offer

  • A genuine opportunity to shape and grow a key service line.
  • Significant autonomy with the support of an established leadership team.
  • Excellent career progression within one of the UK's leading accountancy practices.
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
  • Ongoing investment in professional development and leadership training.
  • A collaborative culture where people are genuinely valued and supported.

If you're an experienced practice professional looking for a Manager opportunity where you can combine client leadership, business development and strategic growth, we'd be delighted to discuss this opportunity with you in confidence.
