Days/Hours: Full Time (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm)
Location: Barry
Pay: £92.63 - £95 per day

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of welcoming primary schools across Barry that are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join their teams.

We are seeking individuals who are committed to making a positive impact on children's learning and development. You will work alongside teachers and support staff to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where pupils can thrive.

Expectations
  • Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to enhance learning and engagement.
  • Assist pupils in developing confidence, independence, and positive learning behaviours.
  • Promote the safeguarding, welfare, and wellbeing of all pupils.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents where appropriate.
  • Support classroom activities and contribute to a positive learning environment.
About the Candidate

Ideally, you will have:

  • Experience working with children, either within an educational setting or through other relevant roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to use your initiative.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's education and development.
What You Will Need
  • An Enhanced Child DBS registered on the Update Service.
  • A current EWC (Education Workforce Council) registration.
