Your new company We're looking for a proactive and commercially minded Management Accountant to join a fast-paced, growing organisation with offices in Brentwood, Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys adding value beyond the numbers-driving insight, improving processes, and supporting key business decisions.
Your new role You will play a critical role in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and meaningful insight.Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
- Delivering financial analysis, variance reporting, and performance insights
- Leading month-end and year-end processes
- Managing VAT, reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
- Supporting cost control and efficiency initiatives
- Producing financial models and reports (Excel, Power BI)
- Driving process improvements and automation
- Handling intercompany transactions (GBP & EUR)
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong experience in management accounting and financial analysis
- Advanced Excel skills with modelling capability
- Power BI (beneficial)
- Experience using ERP systems such as NetSuite, Navision, Dynamics 365, SAP
- Qualified in ACCA, CIMA or ACA
- Detail-focused, proactive, and confident communicating with stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment
