Sales Support Executive
Our client is looking for a Sales Support Executive to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
£32k - £35k DOE
Working closely with the Sales and Account Management teams, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders and contracts are processed accurately and efficiently. You will also act as a central point of coordination between customers and internal departments, helping to deliver a first-class customer experience.
The successful candidate will collaborate with Production, Quality, Warehouse, and Logistics teams based in India, proactively managing the lifecycle of customer orders and ensuring customers are kept informed at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
Processing sales orders for new and existing customers
Supporting the Sales and Account Management teams with customer requests, quality complaints, inventory management, and logistics queries
Monitoring the lifecycle of pending orders to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timely customer updates
Providing customers with all relevant order documentation
Responding to customer requests for information and data in a professional and timely manner
Supporting inventory accounting and management with external warehouse providers
Liaising with internal departments and external customers regarding logistics and service-related matters
Collating and verifying order information to ensure documentation is accurate and complete
Maintaining accurate customer and order information within CRM systems
Working closely with Production, Quality, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
Supporting the Sales and Account Managers with additional administrative duties as required
Person Specification
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Confident working with customers and internal stakeholders
Strong numerical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
Able to work effectively with remotely based colleagues and international teams
Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently when required
Desirable Experience
Previous experience within a sales support, customer service, order processing, or administration role
Experience working within a fast-paced customer-focused environment
Experience liaising directly with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
Experience using CRM systems and order management systems
Knowledge of inventory management, logistics, or supply chain processes would be advantageous
