We are partnering with a well-established and highly respected consumer-facing organisation to appoint a newly created Finance Business Partner position. Operating within a fast-paced commercial environment, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior sales leadership, providing insight, challenge and support to drive business performance.

This is an ideal opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys building relationships, influencing decision-making and translating data into meaningful actions that improve results.


The Opportunity

As Finance Business Partner, you will become the key finance contact for the Sales function, building trusted relationships across the commercial teams and providing robust financial insight to support strategic and operational decision-making.

This role requires a genuine business partner who can combine strong interpersonal skills with the rigour and credibility to challenge performance, influence behaviours and drive accountability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering closely with Sales Directors and commercial leadership teams to drive performance and profitability
  • Providing insightful analysis, reporting and recommendations to support business decisions
  • Challenging assumptions and commercial performance through robust financial evaluation
  • Developing meaningful KPIs and performance metrics to improve decision-making
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and planning processes for commercial functions
  • Identifying opportunities to improve revenue, margin and operational efficiency
  • Translating complex financial and operational data into clear commercial insight for non-finance stakeholders

About You
  • We are seeking an engaging and commercially astute finance professional who brings:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Proven Finance Business Partnering experience within a commercial environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build credibility at all levels
  • The confidence and resilience to challenge and influence senior stakeholders constructively
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights
  • A proactive and personable approach, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams
  • Experience within wholesale, retail, hospitality or other customer-focused sectors would be advantageous, but is not essential
