Description

Financial Leadership & Reporting

• Deliver monthly management accounts with full balance sheet integrity, supported by clear commentary and KPI analysis
• Continuously improve financial controls, processes, and reporting frameworks
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling to support strategic decisions
• Manage the year-end process, including audit preparation and liaison with external advisors

• Oversee weekly performance reporting, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
• Conduct site/venue audits to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
• Provide financial modelling and support for commercial initiatives, including new openings and investments

• Manage cash flow forecasting, payment cycles, and bank reconciliations
• Ensure accuracy of revenue reporting across multiple income streams and systems
• Oversee statutory reporting requirements including VAT and other sector-specific returns

• Support payroll processing and reconciliation
• Work closely with operational teams to ensure accurate and timely submission of financial information
• Provide guidance and oversight to transactional finance functions

• Deliver insightful financial analysis to support key business decisions
• Contribute to operational and financial improvement initiatives across the organisation

Profile

A successful Financial Controller should have:

• Be qualfiied by expereince in a similar role
• A recognised part qualified accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
• Proven experience in the accounting and finance sector, ideally within hospitalility.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and compliance practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
