Salary: £48,000 - £60,000

Working Arrangements: Full Time | Hybrid Working + Flexible Hours

Role Description

I’m working with a highly regarded accountancy practice that is looking to strengthen its corporate tax team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to manage a diverse portfolio of corporate clients while supporting advisory projects, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to the continued growth of the firm.

You’ll work closely with Partners and Directors, delivering exceptional client service, providing technical tax expertise, and helping drive business development opportunities.

What you’ll do

  • Manage a large portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring compliance deadlines are met efficiently and accurately
  • Review complex corporation tax returns and group tax computations
  • Support and manage advisory projects across your client portfolio
  • Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted point of contact
  • Work closely with audit and accounts teams to ensure effective workflow and client delivery
  • Research complex technical tax matters and provide practical recommendations
  • Attend client meetings including pre-year end and completion meetings
  • Mentor, delegate to, and support junior members of the tax team
  • Assist with workflow planning, team management, and staff development
  • Identify opportunities for additional services and support business development initiatives
  • Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and communicate these effectively to clients and colleagues


What you’ll need

  • ACA / ACCA / ATT / CTA qualified, or qualified by experience
  • Strong corporate tax experience gained within a UK accountancy practice
  • Experience managing client relationships and reviewing complex tax work
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise workloads effectively
  • A proactive and commercial approach to client service and business development
