Accounts Assistant (Part Time)
Our client is seeking a Part Time Accounts Assistant with proven experience in a similar finance role to join a well-established and innovative organisation within the technology and manufacturing sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and reliable professional to support day-to-day finance operations within a close-knit team, contributing to the smooth running of core accounting processes.
The Role This is a hands-on and varied position where you will play an integral role in supporting key finance functions. Working closely with the finance team, responsibilities will include:
- Processing purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Preparing supplier payments and ensuring all payments are correctly authorised
- Managing the sales invoicing process, ensuring invoices are raised promptly
- Reconciling bank accounts and resolving any discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting general ledger activities
- Providing administrative support to the finance function as required
- Assisting with ad hoc finance duties to support the wider team

The Ideal Candidate - Proven experience in a similar Accounts Assistant or finance support role
- Experience using accounting software such as Sage 50 or similar
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Well-organised with the ability to manage workload effectively
- Proactive and reliable with a positive attitude
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
