Part-Time Bookkeeper | 6 Month Contract | Poole (On-site / Hybrid considered) | £26,000 – £35,000 (pro rata)

We’re working with a friendly and growing business in Poole who are looking for a Part-Time Bookkeeper to support their finance function. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day accounts while working hours that suit you.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in keeping the finance function running smoothly, with responsibilities including:

  • Managing purchase and sales ledger
  • Bank reconciliations and cashflow tracking
  • Processing invoices and payments
  • Preparing VAT returns and supporting month-end
  • Maintaining accurate financial records
  • Supporting with reporting and general finance tasks


What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience in a Bookkeeping or Accounts Assistant role
  • Strong understanding of transactional finance
  • Experience with systems such as Sage, Xero or QuickBooks
  • Good Excel skills
  • High attention to detail and organisation
  • A proactive and reliable approach
