Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASD
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
- Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and social interaction
- Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, parents, and external professionals
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN/ASD (preferred but not essential)
- A calm, empathetic, and flexible approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- A genuine passion for supporting additional learning needs
