Assembly Operative in Wokingham - Source4 Personnel Solutions

We are currently recruiting an Assembly Operative for our client’s team, a well-established manufacturing business based in Wokingham. This role sits within the UK Production Division and offers an excellent opportunity for someone with strong manual dexterity and a keen eye for detail.

Assembly Operative – Production

Location: Wokingham

Hours: 08:45 - 17:00 Mon - Fri

Salary: £12.80ph

The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly of components and products, working in line with customer specifications, quality standards, and company procedures.

• Assembly of connectors, cables, and components using approved tools and techniques
• Mechanical assembly of a full range of products
• Basic wiring and soldering (advantageous)
• Working with araldite glues and resins
• Inspection of components at each stage of the assembly process
• Packing and documenting finished products
• Maintaining quality standards in line with company QMS procedures
• Completing documentation accurately and on time
• Supporting warehouse duties including picking, packing, stock control, and stock taking
• Assisting with daily despatch when required, including UPS system use
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
• Reporting any quality, assembly, or production issues to the Production Manager
• Adhering to Health & Safety policies at all times
• Carrying out any other reasonable duties as required

• Experience assembling small components in a production environment
• High level of manual dexterity
• Ability to plan and organise workload effectively
• Understanding of quality standards and attention to detail
• Good standard of numeracy and literacy
