Job Title: Logistics / Forklift Operative

Location: Wokingham, Berkshire

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (1-hour lunch break)

We are looking for a motivated and dependable Warehouse Operative to join a busy logistics team in Wokingham. This is a varied, hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

• Assist with daily warehouse and logistics activities, including receiving and checking deliveries
• Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with incoming stock
• Accurately store and track inventory within client-designated areas
• Process orders using Warehouse Management Systems (training provided)
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare goods for dispatch according to client requirements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment
• Adhere to Health & Safety standards and environmental procedures, including recycling practices

• Confident using computers and basic IT systems
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Valid counterbalance forklift licence (essential)
• Extended reach forklift licence desirable (training can be provided)
• Ability to handle physical work, including lifting up to 25kg
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• £28,000 annual salary
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
