Assistant Management Accountant in Leeds - Sharp Consultancy

We are partnering with a global, private equity-backed technology business headquartered in Leeds to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, high-growth organisation with an international presence, providing strong exposure to statutory accounting and external reporting in a dynamic environment.

Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely statutory accounts across multiple entities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and supporting the wider finance function.

Key responsibilities will include;

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and statutory financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.
• Assist with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support continuous improvement of financial reporting processes.
• Assist with year-end audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across finance and the wider business.

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below qualifications/experience:

• Minimum Part-Qualified (AAT, ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
• Strong understanding of statutory accounting and financial reporting
• Excellent attention to detail and technical accounting knowledge
• Strong communication skills, able to engage effectively with stakeholders
• Proactive and eager to learn and develop professionally
