You will work closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders and support the delivery of accurate, timely financial information to support business decision-making. This role offers exposure to core finance activities within a structured reporting environment and will suit someone who enjoys continuous improvement, collaboration, and working to deadlines. Key Responsibilities

• Supporting month-end close activities, including preparation and review of financial reports
• Analysing financial performance and preparing clear explanations for key variances
• Assisting with forecasting and budgeting processes in collaboration with non-finance stakeholders
• Performing balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
• Maintaining the fixed asset register and supporting capital expenditure tracking
• Preparing and posting accruals, prepayments, and other routine journals
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement, standardisation, and increased efficiency

What you'll need to succeed

• ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA qualified or finalist
• Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is essential
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with good attention to detail
• Confident Excel user, including experience with functions such as Pivot Tables and lookup formulas
• Comfortable working in a high-volume environment with tight reporting deadlines
• Able to manage competing priorities, take ownership of tasks, and work effectively as part of a team
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to challenge existing processes and suggest improvements
