SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School (Coalville)

Location: Coalville, Leicestershire
Start Date: After May Half Term
Contract: Full-Time (5 days a week)
Salary: £100-£105 per day (dependent on experience)

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Coalville. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in UK primary schools and is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You'll be working 1:1 with a child to help them achieve their best in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Your Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one support to a child with SEN, assisting with their learning and personal development
Collaborate with the class teacher to create an effective and tailored learning experience
Help the child with their social and emotional development, ensuring they feel supported and confident
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Work closely with parents and other professionals involved in the child's education

What You'll Need:

Solid experience working within a UK primary school (essential)
Experience working with children with SEN (preferred, but not essential)
Patience, empathy, and the ability to engage children in a meaningful way
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
A commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of children
