Description

• Manage accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial records to maintain accuracy.
• Assist with preparing financial reports and documentation for internal and external use.
• Support the monthly and year-end financial close processes.
• Maintain and organise financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as required.
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance team

Profile

A successful Finance Assistant should have:

• Previous experience in an accounting or finance-related role in the retail industry.
• A solid understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A qualification or progress towards one in accounting or finance is advantageous but not essential.
