Learning Support Assistant
Location: Reading

Pay: £85 - £105 per day
Contract: Full-time

Academics are delighted to be partnering with a welcoming and high-achieving primary school in the heart of Reading. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning support assistant to join their dynamic team and make a meaningful impact on pupils' educational journeys.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Learning support assistant to support children in accessing the curriculum, developing confidence, and reaching their full potential in a nurturing classroom environment. As a Learning support assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and fellow staff to provide tailored support to pupils who may benefit from additional guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver effective 1:1 support to pupils requiring additional assistance as a Learning support assistant
  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Foster positive behaviour and encourage active participation in learning
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to teaching staff

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational or similar setting
  • Ability to provide two professional references
  • Right to work in the UK
