The role works closely with both finance and operations and is ideal for someone This role is hybrid working and paying between £26,000 - £28,000 depending on experience. This is a great role for someone with at least a year or more of experience and looking to work wtihin a supportive team to grow their knowledge.

Finance Assistant - Overview

A great opportunity for someone looking to build their finance career within a busy, hands-on environment. This role provides core finance administration support with the chance to gain broader experience across management reporting, analysis, and commercial finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve purchase orders, ensuring correct coding and authorisation.
• Work with Accounts Payable to process supplier invoices accurately.
• Investigate and resolve invoice queries with operational teams.
• Follow up outstanding AP issues to ensure timely resolution.
• Support month-end tasks, including accruals and prepayments.
• Prepare customer invoice information for Accounts Receivable.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Provide administrative support to the finance leadership team.
• Assist with ad-hoc finance duties as needed.

Skills & Experience

• GCSEs/A Levels or equivalent; AAT qualified or studying ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).
• Confident using Excel and Microsoft Office.
