Job Description

Burton Recruitment is partnering with a rapidly scaling ecommerce company based in Blackpool. The business is a market leader in its space and is investing heavily in its product and marketing functions. With ambitious plans for gamification, personalisation, and AI-driven customer experiences, this is an exciting time to join.

The Role

The company is looking for a Product Manager to own the execution of key product initiatives, including a points and rewards programme, platform personalisation, and gamification features. This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role where the successful candidate will take validated concepts from discovery through to delivery and measurable commercial impact.

The Product Manager will work closely with the Data Analyst, external development partners, and the wider product team to build, test, and iterate on features that drive conversion, retention, and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of product initiatives within a defined scope
  • Lead the points and rewards project, bringing gamification and personalisation to life
  • Build and configure competitions within the CMS, including pricing rules, discount zones, and feature flags
  • Run A/B tests and experiments, translating results into iteration plans
  • Analyse funnels and user behaviour to identify friction points and opportunities
  • Define scope, success criteria, and KPIs for each initiative
  • Contribute insight and recommendations to roadmap planning

Requirements

  • 5+ years delivering digital product initiatives end-to-end
  • Experience running A/B tests and using data to drive decisions
  • Data fluency: comfortable with funnels, cohorts, and SQL-backed dashboards (BigQuery, Metabase, GA4)
  • Commercial mindset with evidence of improving conversion, retention, or revenue
  • Strong stakeholder communication and ability to work with external development partners
  • Attention to detail and operational discipline
  • Understanding of compliance-aware product design (transparency, fairness, no dark patterns)

Desirable

  • Experience in ecommerce, gaming, gambling, or high-frequency transactional products
  • Familiarity with GA4, attribution, or lifecycle marketing measurement
  • Experience with CMS-driven product configuration
  • Background in loyalty, rewards, or gamification

The Opportunity

  • Join a market leader in a fast-growing, exciting space
  • Genuine ownership and commercial impact
  • Be part of ambitious plans for AI-driven personalisation and gamification
  • Competitive salary with strong bonus structure
  • Growing team with serious investment in product and marketing
