School Caretaker in Liverpool - Spencer Clarke Group

Job Title: School Caretaker (Full-Time & Part-Time)
Location: Liverpool
Pay: £17-£18 per hour
Start Date: ASAP

Are you a reliable, hands-on individual looking for a rewarding role within a school environment? We are currently recruiting School Caretakers for a number of primary and secondary schools across Liverpool, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students and staff.

• Opening and closing the school premises
• General maintenance and basic repairs
• Ensuring the site is clean, secure, and well-maintained
• Managing health & safety checks and compliance
• Supporting with setting up rooms for events and activities
• Liaising with contractors and school staff when required

• Previous caretaking, site management, or maintenance experience (preferably within a school setting)
• Basic DIY and maintenance skills
• Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
• Reliable, punctual, and proactive attitude
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
