LB Design Recruitment are partnering with an award-winning architectural and urban design practice with over four decades of experience delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use developments across the UK. Operating from multiple UK studios, the practice combines architecture, urban design and graphic expertise to create sustainable, design-led communities. They are now seeking an Architectural Technician (Planning) to join their collaborative design team in their Romsey office.
You will support project teams across all stages of planning design delivery — from early feasibility and concept layouts through to detailed planning submissions. Working closely with architects and project leaders, you’ll prepare full, outline and reserved matters planning application packs, including drawings, 3D visualisations and graphic outputs. As the role develops, you will be encouraged to take on increasing design responsibility, contributing more directly to the design process with clear opportunities for progression.
Essential Skills & Experience:
This is a full-time role based in the Romsey office, offering flexible hybrid working arrangements (part office-based / part working from home). Due to the location, applicants will need their own transport, although the office is within cycling distance of the nearest train station.
