Paraplanner (Wealth Planning Analyst)

Up to £45,000
An established and growing financial planning firm based in Heaton Moor, Stockport is looking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner / Wealth Planning Analyst who is seeking a long-term role within a friendly, close-knit team.
This opportunity will suit a paraplanner who is genuinely passionate about financial planning, enjoys the human side of advice as much as the technical detail, and is excited by the opportunity to grow with a smaller, planning-led business rather than a large corporate environment.

You will have:
- At least 3 years’ paraplanning experience within a financial planning-led advice firm
- Passed at least 3 RO exams, with the intention to complete the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience writing advice across pensions, ISAs, general investment accounts, onshore and offshore bonds
- Ideally worked closely with a financial planning-led adviser delivering holistic advice
- A strong willingness to learn, develop and try new approaches
The Role
As a Paraplanner / Wealth Planning Analyst, you will:
- Provide high-quality paraplanning support to an adviser and play a key role within a newly created pod structure
- Receive structured training across all aspects of paraplanning, with a clear development pathway from day one
- Liaise with clients where required to support delivery of an exceptional planning service
- Prepare suitability reports using firm templates
- Build financial plans using cashflow modelling software (Voyant)
- Support all aspects of advice including:
- Withdrawal strategies
- Tax calculations
- Drafting new investment advice
- Contribute to ad hoc projects such as trialling and implementing new technology
