Finance Analyst in Peterborough - The One Group

I’m pleased to be partnering with a well-established, well-known organisation in Peterborough, who are looking for a Temporary Finance Analyst to join their team as soon as possible.

This is a temporary contract, running until September 2026 and a great opportunity to support a busy finance function and gain exposure to a range of accounting tasks, including assisting with monthly management accounts.

Working a 35 hour week – split across 4 days in the office and 1 from home, your duties will include:

• Bank postings and bank reconciliations
• Maintaining the fixed asset register and posting depreciation
• Accruals and prepayments
• Supporting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Financial analysis and reporting

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is immediately available and ready to start a new role ASAP
• Has finance experience and strong Excel skills
• Is naturally inquisitive and analytical approach
• Able to review large sets of data, spot anomalies or discrepancies, and investigate them
• Has experience with reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
• Has excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Is Part Qualified CIMA or ACCA (desirable)
