FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT – INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS

£35,000 – £40,000 + STUDY SUPPORT + BENEFITS

We’re hiring a Financial Accountant for a well-established international logistics business with a niche focus on fine art and cultural assets. They are expanding their finance team and need someone keen to grow their career in a hands-on, evolving role.

WISH LIST
- Experience working in a finance team, ideally in an SME setting
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in how businesses make money
- A self-starter with a positive, can-do mindset
THE ROLE
- Collate and account for third-party job costs
- Raise and manage storage billing
- Assist in preparing monthly management accounts
- Reconcile bank accounts
- Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns
- Provide cover for AP and AR during holidays
- Support continuous improvement in finance processes
- Liaise with internal teams on finance-related queries
- Help ensure data accuracy across finance systems
- Contribute to the team’s goal of becoming a best-in-class finance function
YOUR PROFILE
- Actively studying AAT, ACCA, or CIMA
- Effective communicator – written and verbal
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, detail-focused team
- Proactive about learning and picking up new skills
SALARY & BENEFITS
- £35,000 – £40,000 depending on experience
- 3 days in-office (Slough)
- Study support available after probation
