Looking to Build a Career in Financial Services?

Whether you’re an experienced administrator looking for a new industry, or early in your career with strong organisational skills and transferable admin experience, this could be a fantastic opportunity.

We’re working with a well-established financial planning firm in Horsham that is offering full training across both their Wealth Planning and Mortgage teams. They are looking for someone organised, proactive and eager to learn who wants to develop a long-term career within financial services.

You don’t need prior wealth management experience — strong administrative ability, attention to detail and the right attitude are what matter most.

About the Company

This is a friendly, well-established financial planning firm with a team of around 15 people. Alongside their successful wealth planning department, they also operate a growing mortgage team.

The office culture is social, supportive and collaborative. People genuinely enjoy working together and new team members are given the time, training and support they need to develop their knowledge and confidence.

Many employees have progressed internally into more technical roles over time.

What the Role Involves

  • Supporting the wealth planning and mortgage teams with day-to-day administration.
  • Preparing client documentation and ensuring records are accurate and well organised.
  • Booking client appointments and assisting advisers with diary management.
  • Drafting client correspondence and helping prepare review documentation.
  • Liaising with providers and helping ensure client cases progress smoothly.
  • Learning the financial planning and mortgage processes through structured on-the-job training.

Over time, you’ll build strong technical knowledge across both wealth planning and mortgages, opening up future development opportunities within the firm.

What They’re Looking For

  • Previous administrative experience or strong transferable admin skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Someone who enjoys working as part of a supportive team.

What’s on Offer

  • Salary up to £30,000 depending on experience, plus discretionary bonus.
  • 23 days holiday increasing to 25, plus bank holidays.
  • Death in Service, Income Protection and company pension.
  • Modern Horsham office with nearby parking.
  • Full training across wealth management and mortgage administration.
  • Long-term career development opportunities within a supportive team.

If you’re looking for an opportunity to build a career within financial services and join a company that will invest in your training and development, please apply and we can discuss the role in more detail.
