JOB TITLE - Teaching Assistant (Primary)ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Primary School based in Bristol. The school is well-established, welcoming, and committed to providing high-quality education for all pupils.
With strong leadership and a collaborative staff team, this is an excellent environment for an experienced TA looking to further develop their skills.

This position is offered on a long-term basis, with the potential for extension or a permanent contract depending on performance.

• Location: Bristol
• Position: Teaching Assistant (Primary)
• Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
• Pay Rate: £90 - £110 per day
• Hours: 8:20am - 3:30pm

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

• Experience working in a UK education setting - mandatory
• Strong understanding of supporting teaching and learning within a primary classroom
• Experience supporting pupils individually, in groups, or as part of whole-class learning
• Understanding of or interest in supporting SEN, including Autism and Speech & Language needs
• Up-to-date safeguarding training (Prospero can provide this if needed)
• Confident communication and positive behaviour-management skills
• A calm, patient, and supportive approach to working with children

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
• Be able to provide 24 months of employment references, including at least one from a role involving children
• Have strong written and spoken English
