IT Service Desk Analyst — Warrington
Location: Warrington — 100% Onsite, 5 days per week
Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 + Benefits
Active SC Clearance OR SC Eligible — both considered
Full UK Driving Licence — MANDATORY
We are recruiting an IT Service Desk Analyst for a busy 24x7 support operation in Warrington. This is a fully onsite shift-based role including nights and weekends. Both active SC clearance and eligibility to obtain clearance are accepted for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as single point of contact for incidents and service requests via phone, chat, portal, and email
- Resolve user issues promptly to minimise business disruption
- Manage service requests including software installs, access permissions, and hardware setup
- Log and own all incidents through to resolution within SLA
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles and support documentation
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate support tiers
- Monitor infrastructure alerts and respond proactively
- Perform quality analysis and act as backup for Incident Manager when required
Essential Skills
- Proven IT service desk experience in a fast-paced client-facing environment
- Strong troubleshooting across software, hardware, desktops, laptops, and printers
- Knowledge of ITSM tools, M365, Active Directory, and Entra ID
- ITIL Foundation certification — preferred
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and time management skills
- Analytical mindset and ability to think on your feet
Requirements
- SC Security Clearance — active or eligible to obtain
- Full UK Driving Licence — mandatory
- Willingness to work rotating 24x7 shift pattern including nights and weekends
