Engineering Contracts Administrator

Location: Swindon
Pay: £13.33 per hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:40pm (37.5 hours)
Contract: 6 months, with potential to extend or go permanent
Start Date: ASAP
Work Type: Onsite

About the Role

We are looking for an organised and confident Engineering Contracts Administrator to support our Engineering team with contractor management, compliance, and contract coordination. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with systems, managing processes, and communicating with internal teams and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain engineering service contracts and SLAs
  • Track supplier performance and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Support contract renewals and help identify opportunities for improvements or cost savings
  • Coordinate contractor visits, including onboarding, site inductions, and permit requirements
  • Keep accurate documentation for audits and compliance
  • Monitor Health & Safety and GMP requirements for all visiting contractors
  • Provide follow-up actions and feedback after contractor visits
What You Need
  • Experience using ERP systems (for purchasing)
  • Experience using CMMS systems
  • Good understanding of quality systems
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a bonus
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Engineering experience is beneficial but not essential
Working Environment

You will work in both office and manufacturing areas.
Occasional entry to clean rooms may be required (no make-up or jewellery allowed).
All required IT equipment will be provided.
