JOB TITLE: Accounts Payable Supervisor

LOCATION: Swindon, Wiltshire

SALARY: £40,000 - £45,000

WAY OF WORKING: Full Time | Hybrid | Permanent

THE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SUPERVISOR OPPORTUNITY:

• Manage the accounts payable team
• Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Code invoices to the correct general ledger accounts and cost centres
• Prepare and process weekly/monthly payment runs (BACS/cheque/online payments)
• Reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier records
• Assist with month-end close processes, including accruals and reporting
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial controls

YOUR KEY SKILLS:

• Experience leading a team
• Previous experience in an accounts payable or finance role
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles
• Experience using accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
