JOB TITLE: Accounts Payable Supervisor
LOCATION: Swindon, Wiltshire
SALARY: £40,000 - £45,000
WAY OF WORKING: Full Time | Hybrid | Permanent
THE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SUPERVISOR OPPORTUNITY:
- Manage the accounts payable team
- Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Code invoices to the correct general ledger accounts and cost centres
- Prepare and process weekly/monthly payment runs (BACS/cheque/online payments)
- Reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier records
- Assist with month-end close processes, including accruals and reporting
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial controls
YOUR KEY SKILLS:
- Experience leading a team
- Previous experience in an accounts payable or finance role
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience using accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
