Assistant Accountant in Middlesbrough - KCR Solutions

KCR Solutions are delighted to be recruiting an Assistant Accountant for an excellent client based in Middlesbrough. Reporting to the MD this is a standalone role that would suit someone who is used to a fast-moving, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Prepare management accounts to trial balance
• Prepare schedules for external accountants
• Produce cash-flow forecasts and monitor working capital
• Prepare VAT returns and maintain statutory records
• Prepare and process monthly payroll
• Process bank and credit card reconciliations
• Process supplier invoices, reconcile accounts and prepare payment runs
• Produce and distribute sales invoices
• Chasing aged debt and resolving invoice queries
• Manage holidays and sickness

This role will suit someone with previous experience of working for an SME in a standalone role. Knowledge of Sage and Sage Payroll would be a benefit.
