Head of Wordings in London - Insight Recruitment Solutions Limited

An excellent opportunity to join a growing insurance business in the City to support the UK Business in respect of a number of activities in relation to documentation including developing the Delegated Authority Arrangements, reviewing reinsurance contracts as well as documenting wordings and policies of the Company's insurance activities.

You will have a proven track record of working in the Lloyd's, the London Market, or the UK Company market and will have experience of Property and Casualty documentation for consumer and commercial, and experience of Delegated Underwriting Arrangements and reinsurance wordings.

Key responsibilities will include:???????

• Drafting, reviewing and approving policy forms, wordings, clauses and endorsements including policy summaries, IPIDs ICOBs and associated material ensuring wordings are fit for purpose clear, appropriate and comply with relevant laws, regulations, consistent with established appetite and underwriting and claims philosophy
• Drafting Delegated Authority Agreements to be entered into with MGAs to ensure that they meet the business, legal and regulatory requirements;
• Ensuring that outwards reinsurance documentation meets the Company's requirements including legal and regulatory compliance and consistency with the Delegated Authority Agreements with no gaps between the inwards and outwards coverage and conditions;
• Reviewing TOBAs and other sub-delegation documents between MGAs and brokers or between the Company and brokers;
• Liaising with key internal stakeholders throughout the business to ensure new business and renewal milestones are met; and
• Liaising with key external stakeholders including brokers, reinsurers, MGAs and TPAs.
