Description
French speaking bookkeeper:
- Managing daily bookkeeping tasks across French-speaking entities
- Processing invoices, expenses, and payments accurately and on time
- Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining clean, up-to-date ledgers
- Supporting month-end activities, including accruals, journals, and reconciliations
- Liaising with French-speaking clients, suppliers, and internal teams
- Assisting with VAT returns and compliance requirements
- Helping with audit preparation and providing accurate documentation
- Resolving queries promptly to ensure smooth financial operations
Profile
French speaking bookkeeper:
- Proven experience in a Bookkeeper or Assistant Accountant role
- Fluent French (written and spoken) - essential
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Confidence handling reconciliations, ledgers, and transactional finance tasks
- Good working knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to communicate professionally with stakeholders in French and English
- A proactive, reliable, and self-motivated approach
