Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a growing, North Wales based, niche services organisation as they look to recruit a Management Accountant to join their Finance Team

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced and well rounded Management Accountant looking to take on a hands on role with a real opportunity to add value and improve processes

Salary/benefits:

  • £40-50,000pa
  • 1 day from home per week

Job Duties:

  • Monthly journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Fixed asset registers, calculating and recording monthly depreciation.
  • Monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts with analysis and variance reporting.
  • Analyse financial performance, including variances against budgets and forecasts
  • Cost analysis withcommentary
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial models
  • Assist with cash flow forecasting and working capital management
  • Prepare monthly intercompany reconciliations, investigating variances
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT returns for submission
  • Assist with cash flow forecasting and working capital management
  • Recommend improvements to financial systems, processes, and reporting

Ideal experience

  • Proven experience as a management accountant, financial analyst, or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, and financial reporting
  • SAP experience ideal but not essential
  • Very strong Excel knowledge
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
