Job Description

Summary:

My client, a prop trading firm active across a wide range of asset classes and regions, is looking for highly talented developers with expert-level C++ skills to join their London office.

You'll be part of a passionate team developing C++ code for the core trading engine, solving complex problems on the engine for all exchange-traded asset classes. You'll collaborate with quant researchers, creating software to support research, analysis, backtesting, and live trading. You'll also help design and architect world-class low-latency trading solutions by understanding networks, server architecture, and how software can best take advantage of the hardware.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years' C++ coding experience, focused on high-performance or low-latency server programming
  • In-depth knowledge of Linux systems, network programming, & CPU architecture
  • Knowledge of market data protocols & order entry for global exchanges
  • Experience profiling and optimization code
  • Bonus points for finance experience
