AI Workspace Engineer in London - Michael Page Technology

This role leads the technical delivery and governance of enterprise AI workspace platforms, focusing on Microsoft 365 Copilot and Google Workspace Gemini. You will design, integrate, and optimise AI solutions that enhance collaboration, automation, and decision-making, ensuring secure, compliant, and scalable deployment across the digital workplace.

Description

• Lead implementation of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Google Gemini and NotebookLM
• Design and integrate AI-powered solutions using APIs, connectors, and automation tools
• Act as SME for enterprise AI workspace platforms across engineering and security teams
• Integrate AI tools with enterprise systems and data sources
• Develop reusable prompts, templates, and workflow accelerators
• Ensure compliance, governance, and secure AI operations
• Manage deployment lifecycle, monitoring, and optimisation
• Support user enablement and evaluate new platform capabilities

Profile

A successful AI Workspace Engineer should have:

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (Copilot, Copilot Studio, Graph API, M365 Admin)
• Experience with Google Workspace (Gemini, NotebookLM, Admin Console, Add-ons)
• Proven track record embedding AI into business workflows
• Strong understanding of identity, governance, and security controls
• Experience building prompts, automation workflows, or AI extensions

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Graph API and Google Workspace APIs
• Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI
• Power Automate, Apps Script or similar automation tools
• Knowledge of Responsible AI practices
• Understanding of M365 and Google licensing models

Desirable Certifications

• Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Google Professional Collaboration Engineer or relevant Google Cloud certifications
• Architecture framework certification such as TOGAF (optional but beneficial)

Job Offer

• Competitive daily rate between £680 and £700 a day inside IR35.
