Compliance Officer in Manchester - Clayton Davies Ltd

We’re working with a well-established and growing IFA firm based in Manchester that is genuinely committed to developing its people. As part of continued growth, they’re looking to appoint a Compliance Officer and are very open to candidates who may not yet be in a formal compliance role.

If you’re currently a Paraplanner or IFA Administrator with a strong understanding of advice processes and a keen interest in compliance, this could be an excellent opportunity to transition into a long-term compliance career with full training and support.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Supporting the firm’s compliance framework and policies
• File reviews (pre- and post-sale, depending on experience)
• Assisting with FCA regulatory requirements and reporting
• Monitoring adherence to internal procedures and best practice
• Providing guidance to advisers and support staff on compliance matters
• Helping to identify and manage regulatory risks

The role can be shaped around your experience, with structured development into a full Compliance Officer position.

Do you have the following to apply?

• Experience within an IFA environment (Paraplanner, IFA Administrator, or similar)
• Level 4 qualified or working towards
• Good understanding of the advice process and FCA regulations
• Confident communicator who’s comfortable working with advisers
• A genuine interest in building a career in compliance
