Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker – Crystal Palace – Estate Agency Leads – OTE £85,000

Cameron James Professional Recruitment is working exclusively with a high-performing and well-known estate agency brand to recruit an experienced Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker to join their busy branch in Crystal Palace.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker who is looking to join a high-volume, financially focused estate agency environment with a strong introducer network and a realistic earnings potential of £70,000–£85,000.

Working from the Crystal Palace branch, you will provide whole-of-market mortgage and protection advice to a large, existing client base and a consistent flow of new mortgage appointments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing regulated mortgage and protection advice to clients in Crystal Palace
• Handling mortgage applications up to £1.5 million (average property value c. £450,000)
• Managing an existing database of over 500 clients requiring remortgage and refinancing advice
• Attending 8–10 new mortgage appointments per week from estate agency introducer leads
• Writing 2–3 mortgages per week and building a strong personal banking profile
• Working closely with the sales-driven estate agency team in Crystal Palace

You should expect to bank approximately £150,000 – £180,000 per annum, resulting in realistic earnings of £70,000 – £85,000.

• Basic salary £27,000 – £31,000 (including car allowance)
• Financial guarantees available
• OTE £55,000 in year one
• OTE up to £85,000 in year two
• Excellent commission structure

• Fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent)
• Previous experience as a Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker (estate agency, independent, network, tied or bank)
• Strong knowledge of the whole-of-market mortgage sector and protection products
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Clean credit history and no criminal convictions

• Over 50 property sales per month from the Crystal Palace branch
• Strong and consistent mortgage lead flow
• Financial-services-led management team
