Financial Reporting Accountant / £60,000 / Hybrid Working

Fancy putting your financial reporting skills to work in the heart of Liverpool City Centre - without committing forever? We're on the lookout for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join our friendly, fast-paced finance team on a 6-month contract, starting immediately.
This role offers the best of both worlds with hybrid working - 3 days in the office and 2 from home - plus the chance to make a real impact from day one.

• 
  Preparing statutory accounts in line with FRS 102
• 
  Supporting the year-end and month-end close processes
• 
  Producing high-quality financial statements and disclosures
• 
  Liaising with external auditors and responding to audit queries
• 
  Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring accuracy
• 
  Maintaining strong financial controls and documentation
• 
  Assisting with technical accounting queries and reporting improvements

• 
  A qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• 
  Solid experience with statutory accounts and FRS 102
• 
  Someone confident, hands-on, and happy to hit the ground running
• 
  A team player with a good sense of humour (important around here!)
