Job Description
A well-established organisation is seeking a Part Time Accounts Assistant to support with day-to-day financial operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent administrative skills, and confidence working within a busy, process-driven environment. The successful candidate must be available to work reduced hours across all five weekdays (Monday to Friday).
What you’ll be doing
- Providing day-to-day support across finance and administrative activities
- Handling purchase invoices and keeping supplier information up to date
- Tracking outstanding balances and managing credit control
- Making sure payments are received within required timeframes
- Completing daily bank reconciliations
- Preparing and sending sales invoices
- Keeping financial documentation organised and compliant
- Assisting with month-end and year-end reporting tasks
What we’re looking for
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy
- Highly organised with effective time-management abilities
- Skilled in Excel, including V-Lookups and Pivot Tables
- Clear, confident communicator with a professional manner
- Comfortable working both independently and within a team
- Solid understanding of financial processes, controls, and compliance requirements
