Pricing & Stock Manager
Location: Harlow (Office-based)
Salary: £65,000 – £90,000 per annum + benefits
Overview
Rise10 Recruitment is exclusively partnering with a leading organisation within the renewable energy sector to appoint a highly capable Pricing & Stock Manager. This is a key, analytically focused role responsible for driving daily fuel pricing decisions and managing stock levels across multiple depots to ensure competitiveness, availability and strong margin performance.
This position is ideally suited to a commercially minded data professional who thrives in fast-moving environments, understands market-based pricing, and is comfortable owning operational decisions that directly impact revenue and performance.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Manage daily fuel pricing across regions, product lines, and customer segments
- Analyse PLATTS, ARGUS, competitor pricing, supply costs, and market data to inform pricing decisions
- Develop, maintain, and refine pricing models and margin optimisation strategies
- Monitor stock levels across depots, ensuring availability while minimising holding costs
- Forecast demand, plan replenishment, and liaise with sales, logistics, and operations
- Identify potential stock discrepancies or supply risks and resolve issues proactively
- Lead data extraction, reporting, and dashboard development across ERP and pricing systems
- Track KPIs including margin performance, pricing accuracy, and stock turnover
- Enhance pricing and stock management systems and support automation initiatives
- Champion continuous improvement across pricing, inventory, and data processes
Skills & Competencies Required
- Strong analytical and quantitative capability
- Advanced Excel and data tools; SQL and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) desirable
- ERP experience (SAP, Oracle or similar) highly advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail with sound commercial judgement
- Clear communication skills with the ability to present insights to senior stakeholders
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, market-driven environment
- Proactive leadership mindset with ownership of daily pricing and stock operations
Background & Experience
- Degree in Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field
- 3–5 years’ experience in pricing, stock/inventory management, or commercial analytics
- Experience within fuel, energy, commodities, or similar market-based sectors
- Evidence of managing data-driven decision-making processes
- Understanding of market-linked pricing models and forecasting techniques
