What you bring:
In the Trainee Assistant Accountant role you'll bring a passion for foundational accounting practices such as double-entry bookkeeping along with exposure to multi-entity environments. Your background may include supporting month-end closes or preparing reconciliations under supervision. You're comfortable using Microsoft Excel for analysis tasks-like creating pivot tables-and ideally have worked with ERP systems before.
* You are an early stage part-qualified accountant or have an enthusiastic willingness to begin studies towards ACCA / CIMA or equivalent professional qualification.
* You possess a solid grounding in financial accounting principles as well as double-entry bookkeeping techniques gained through education or practical experience.
* You demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel including use of pivot tables, lookups (VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP), and basic data analysis functions relevant for financial reporting.
