English Teaching Assistant - Full-Time (5 Days per Week)

Are you a passionate and knowledgeable English graduate or experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next full-time opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated English Teaching Assistant to work 5 days per week across welcoming secondary schools in Merton.

• Supporting students across KS3 and KS4 in English lessons

• Working closely with English teachers to deliver engaging and effective learning

• Providing targeted 1:1 and small-group support to help students reach their full potential

• Assisting with lesson preparation, classroom management, and progress tracking

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school

• Strong subject knowledge in English

• A degree is preferred (especially in English or a related subject)

• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude
